CANCELLATION POLICY
Our clients are expected to attend each scheduled session on time. A canceled or delayed appointment delays our work and can negatively impact other clients. A late cancel or no-show appointment can cause challenges for at least three people: you, our child life team, and another client who could have potentially utilized your time slot.
Coastal Coping LLC has a cancellation policy out of respect for you, our child life team and our other clients.
Our cancellation policy is not a penalty or a punishment.
CANCELLATIONS AND MISSED APPOINTMENTS
Since Coastal Coping LLC appointments involve the reservation of time specifically for you, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling or canceling an appointment. This means that if an appointment is scheduled for 3:00 PM on a Wednesday, notice must be given by 3:00 pm on Monday at the latest.
There will be no refund on the already paid for session and clients will be charged the session’s full amount.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment prior to 48 hours, you can use our calendly link to adjust to a time that works better for you; calendly.com/coastalcoping.
If you’re unable to reschedule within the 48 hour window, please call 732-835-8363 and leave a voicemail or e-mail us at coastalcoping@gmail.com.
If our child life team has to cancel your appointment within the 48 hour window, we sincerely apologize. Clients will receive reimbursement and/or credit for the session.
LATE APPOINTMENTS
Sessions start promptly at the scheduled time. If you are unable to attend at the scheduled time, your session will be considered a canceled appointment and will follow the same cancellation policy.
There will be no refund on the already paid for session and clients will be charged the session’s full amount.
If our child life team is late to your scheduled session, we sincerely apologize. Clients will either have the option of adding the amount of the minutes that were disrupted on a session or receive reimbursement and/or credit for the session.
EXCEPTIONS
The only time we will waive the cancellation policy is in the event of serious illness, emergency or extreme unavoidable circumstance. If you are unsure, please e-mail us at coastalcoping@gmail.com or call 732-835-8363 and leave a voicemail for further guidance.
TECHNOLOGICAL DIFFICULTIES
Coastal Coping sessions are facilitated virtually and clients are responsible for ensuring their computers work appropriately. Any technological difficulties or troubleshooting that occurs during the session due to the client’s technology will be counted in their session minutes.
If any technological difficulties arise from our child life team’s side, we sincerely apologize. Clients will either have the option of adding the amount of the minutes that were disrupted on a session or receive reimbursement and/or credit for the session.
We are not upset with clients when they miss an appointment or have technological difficulties. We know that’s life. We just ask that we all respect each other's time and our policy surrounding scheduling. We appreciate your compliance!
REFUND POLICY
Due to the nature of our services, refunds are evaluated on a case by case basis. Refund requests must be submitted in writing within at least 14 business days of purchase to CoastalCoping@gmail.com. Coastal Coping LLC makes no warranties regarding the performance or operation of this website.
